Yuumi is committed to providing a fair, safe, and ethical marketplace for both customers and sellers. This Code of Conduct outlines the expectations we hold for our Sellers. By working together, we can create a positive and sustainable environment for everyone involved.

Compliance and Business Practices

  • Legal and Regulatory Adherence: All Yuumi sellers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the Kingdom of Bahrain and those relevant to their products or services. This includes, but is not limited to, laws concerning product safety, intellectual property, consumer protection, data privacy, and labor practices.

  • Accurate Information: Provide accurate and current information about your business, products, and services on the Yuumi platform. Descriptions should be clear, truthful, and not misleading in any way.

  • Fair Pricing: Offer competitive and fair prices for your products and services. Avoid deceptive pricing practices such as hidden fees or bait-and-switch tactics.

Labor Practices and Worker Wellbeing

  • Ethical Labor Practices: Uphold ethical labor practices within your own operations and supply chain. This includes respecting worker rights, adhering to fair wages and working hours, and maintaining safe and healthy working conditions.

  • Forced Labor: Yuumi strictly prohibits the use of forced labor, prison labor, or child labor in any part of your operations or supply chain.

Product Safety and Quality

  • Product Safety Standards: Ensure that all products offered on Yuumi meet all relevant safety standards and regulations. Provide accurate and complete information about any potential safety hazards associated with your products.

  • Product Quality: Maintain consistent quality control measures to ensure your products meet the expectations set in your product descriptions and listings.

Prohibited Activities

  • Illegal or Restricted Goods: You are prohibited from selling or listing any products or services that are illegal, harmful, or restricted by law in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This includes, but is not limited to, weapons, counterfeit goods, hazardous materials, and age-restricted products without proper verification.

  • Intellectual Property Infringement: Respect the intellectual property rights of others. Yuumi does not tolerate any form of intellectual property infringement, including copyright, trademark, or patent violations.

  • Fraudulent Activities: Engaging in any fraudulent activity, such as manipulating sales figures, creating fake reviews, or engaging in deceptive marketing practices, is strictly prohibited.

  • Customer Abuse: Treat all Yuumi customers with respect and courtesy. Avoid spamming, harassing, or misleading customers.

Monitoring and Enforcement

Yuumi reserves the right to monitor seller activity on the platform. Any violations of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of your Yuumi selling privileges. We may also remove listings, restrict access to features, or take other appropriate actions as deemed necessary.

Reporting Violations

If you believe that a Yuumi seller is violating this Code of Conduct, please report the issue to our customer support team. We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action.
